The Department of Information Technology Services is responsible for overseeing the use of Information Technology to support the goals and initiatives of the City of West Linn. Our department will ensure effective and efficient use of existing and emerging technologies in government operations as well as deliver information while safeguarding data. The Department is responsible for essential strategic and tactical functions such as:
- Strategic planning for the alignment of technology to key business objectives.
- Development and administration of technology policies and standards to ensure ethical, transparent, and effective use of the City’s technology infrastructure.
- Enterprise project management for the acquisition and implementation of new technologies into the City’s technology infrastructure.
- Evolution and support of the City’s technology infrastructure (including network, systems, data, internet, applications, desktops, peripherals, telephony, and mobile devices).
