Marilyn Scott -- the SCORE Portland Chapter Chair -- will present on what issues a person should consider when starting a business. The session will be held at the Bamboo Room in the West Linn Public Library Nov. 16, 11:30 - 1 p.m..
Points discussed will include:
- What is a business plan and why do you need one?
- What legal form is best for your business?
- Funding a new business.
- Using library resources to complete first steps.
SCORE is a nationwide nonprofit organization dedicated to the formation, growth and success of small businesses.
