In the event of an emergency or incident of significance to a substantial number of West Linn residents and businesses, live updates will be posted regularly on this page (www.westlinnoregon.gov/westlinnready/incident-updates). Updates will also be copied to the City's main Facebook account.

Date Time Description
2/14/25 6:15pm All hills, except Skye Pkwy, are now open. 
2/14/25 4:00pm Summit Street has reopened but all other steep hills remain closed. Public Works and PD will continue to monitor road conditions and reopen streets as it becomes safe to do so. 
2/14/25 7:45am City Hall, the West Linn Library, and Adult Community Center will be closed. 
2/14/25 7:30am The West Linn Library will be closed today.
2/14/25 4:30am Roads conditions remain slick and icy throughout the City and there is a layer of ice below the fresh snow. Crews worked overnight on snow routes but residents should avoid driving, if possible. All steep hills remain closed.
2/13/25 4:00pm All steep hills will remain closed through the night as crews continue to work on clearing roads. City Hall will have a delayed opening at 9:30 am. Further updates to come before the morning commute. 
2/13/25 10:45am All City Facilities are now closed including City Hall, Public Libray, Adult Community Center, and the Police Department's Front Office. Public Works crews and Police officers are still hard at work to keep roads safe.
2/13/25 9:45am City Hall has been closed for the day. All City meetings and events are canceled. 
2/13/25 9:00am The following roads with steep grades are now CLOSED:
•Marylhurst Drive from Hillcrest to Lower Midhill
•Hidden Springs Road from Bluegrass Way to Cottonwood Court
•Pimlico Drive from Palomino Way to Willamette Drive
•Summit Street from Rosemont Road to Skyline
•12th Street from Tualatin Avenue to Volpp Street
•Skye Parkway from Troon Drive to Hillside Drive

West Linn Library and Adult Community Center Closed due to inclement weather. City Hall and Police Station remain open. Public Works crews are out deicing and monitoring roads to keep them as safe as conditions permit, however we recommend avoiding travel if possible until conditions improve. If you must travel, be sure to slow down and allow extra time.
