Join us for our new monthly Maker Club! Kids can come in to experiment with a rotating roster of crafts from Lego bricks, cardboard construction, Ozobot coding, wind tubes and more! Explore a single activity and complete our challenges, or try out a bit of every activity - it's up to you!

No registration is required for this event

Join this free community event bringing skilled volunteers and people with broken items together.

Common Threads Crochet & Knit Group

Please note, Common Threads is meeting on Tuesday, November 4th. On November 11th the library will be closed in observance of Veterans day. 

Common Threads Crochet & Knit Group is a way of bringing yarn enthusiasts of all skill levels together for the purposes of sharing; listening; learning; and maybe finding inspiration to try something new.  We share patterns and work on whatever we've brought that day.  Instruction will be offered to help you master new stitches and techniques.  Beginners are welcome.  No registration is required for this group. Minecraft Club

Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday.

Minecraft Club will be taking a break starting in May. Please check back in August for our fall sessions.

 

Join us for Minecraft Gaming at the Library! This event is open to students in grades 4-7 and will take place in The Hollow at the West Linn Public Library.

Minecraft Club will take place every every 2nd and 4th Tuesday.

Jigsaw Puzzle Swap

Saturday, March 21   |  Community Room  |  10:00  AM - 11:00 AM

Give a puzzle, get a new puzzle in exchange at our Jigsaw Puzzle Swap! Gently used puzzles (in their original box) will be accepted at the Circulation Desk for a voucher starting Saturday, March 14th to Friday March 20th at 6:00 PM.  Please tape all four sides closed. Redeem your voucher on Saturday, March 21 starting at 10:00 am until 10:30Puzzles will be open to all from 10:30 AM -11:00 AM on only March 21, no vouchers needed. This does not include puzzles from the Book Nook Used Bookstore. All ages are welcome at this event.

Meet One-on-One with a Financial Advisor

Speak with a financial advisor about Investments, Retirement, & Estate Planning. This includes 401(k), IRA, estate planning, planning for major purchase like buying home, college savings, risk management, and more. These appointments are for 30 minutes. Registration is required. 

Library Writers Group

Second and fourth Wednesday at 5:30pm

This group is a chance for amateur to professional writers to meet, discuss ideas, share tips, and critique each other's writing. No registration or commitment required, but please RSVP if you plan to come so you can be sent the material for the upcoming meeting.
