Update to the City’s Water Master Plan. The current Water Master Plan was last updated in 2008. The updated plan will evaluate current conditions and provide future direction for the City’s potable water system through build-out conditions (assumed to occur in the next 20 years). The master plan will provide capital improvement projects and priorities, system management and maintenance programmatic recommendations and costs, summary fact sheets and maps, operations and maintenance plans, funding needs/strategies, and shall meet all applicable state, regional, and local laws.

Status Updates

12/14/2023- Completed draft expected in early 2024.

6/14/2022 - Contract scope and fee approved by City Council. 

5/24/2022 - Final Scope of Work and Fees will be presented to City Council on June 13th for review and approval of professional services agreement with Murraysmith, Inc.

3/15/2022 - Scope  of work and fee negotiations continue. Final contract award is tentatively scheduled for May.

1/24/2022 - Murraysmith, Inc. was notified as being selected for the project. Contract and scope negotiations are underway.

1/5/2022 - Statement of Qualifications due. The City received two responses.

12/13/2021 - Request for Statements of Qualifications advertised to solicit professional services contract for master plan update.
