The maintenance division has identified sub-standard water mains that need to be replaced. This project will aim to upgrade these water mains to current City standards. The work will likely take place in multiple neighborhoods.

Status Updates

6/5/2019 - Contractor wrapping up the project and was provided a punch list including request for tranches to be paved with temporary cold mix beginning 6/11/2019.

5/29/2019 - Water shut-offs take place on Apollo while final water tie-in and service switch-overs take place.

4/29/2019 - Work to begin on Apollo Rd. 

04/04/2019 - Construction to start 4/15/2019.

3/19/2018 - Contract approved by Council on March 11, 2019.

01/08/2019 - Design plans are complete. City is researching and negotiating an easement with property owners for one of the locations. Bid advertisement date is to be determined, likely in Spring 2019.

11/13/2018 - (Ongoing) Design review 30% completed.

10/16/2018 - Plans are approximately 60 % designed.

09/12/2018 - First design review comments ongoing.

08/08/2018 - Plans are approximately 30% designed.

06/05/2018 - Project is still in design phase.

04/09/2018 - Survey and design work being prepared.

03/05/2018 - Project scope has been determined. Staff is performing site survey and drafting preliminary design plans.
