Potential Public Meetings Law Violation

Per ORS 192.705, a person who believes that a governing body has acted in violation of Oregon Public Meetings Law may, within 30 days of the alleged violation, file a written grievance with the public body whose governing body is alleged to have violated Oregon Public Meetings Law, setting forth the specific facts and circumstances that the person asserts amounted to a violation. The grievance must state the identity of the person filing the grievance and any other information required by the Oregon Government Ethics Commission.

Goals for City Manager

In accordance with the City Charter, Council solicits annual feedback from the public on the performance of the City Manager, and considers such public input in the evaluation of the City Manager.  As part of the City Manager Evaluation process Council sets annual goals for the City Manager. They can be found in the document attached below.

In accordance with the City Charter, Council solicits annual feedback on the performance of the City Manager, and considers this input in its evaluation of the City Manager (City Charter, Section 21).

The Council welcomes staff feedback through the evaluation form below now through August 30.  Information gathered from this annual survey is used to guide the ongoing success of the City Manager and our organization.

The City of West Linn takes complaints of employee misconduct very seriously. We are providing an online reporting tool for your convenience. This complaint tracking system is hosted by a third-party complaint hotline provider, EthicsPoint.

All complaints are initially routed to the City Manager and Human Resources. If the complaint is about either of those, the complaint is routed to the City's employment attorney office.
