Upcoming HSNA Solve Event

Volunteering is a great way to give back to our community! To participate in our upcoming April 23 SOLVE event at Palomino Park, please click here

Join us Sunday April 23, 9am–12pm, for an Earth-day-weekend event. It will be our first gathering of 2023 following our December planting. We'll be grabbing the nasty species by the roots as they poke their invasive shoots above ground, threatening our new native plants. We will concentrate on keeping the recently planted and mulched areas invasive-free so the new plantings take hold and spread. No skills or huge muscles are required. Everyone is welcome. Children under 13 are welcome with an adult. Tools and gloves are available, but yours will be better. Water for your refillable water bottles and snacks are provided. The site is flat and accessible at the park, but gets woodsy and hilly on the trail. Good soles on your boots will help. Sorry, no restrooms are available.Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Meeting Location: Meet at the playground at Palomino Park at the bend.
