SEO - Search Engine Optimization

Kevin Vedder will explain how to utilize search engine optimization (SEO). The session will be held at the RAIN Room in the West Linn Public Library Jan. 20, 11 - 12 p.m..  

SEO is a word many business owners hear these days, but just what is it? Kevin will go over how search engines view your website and ways to improve your websites placement in search engine results.

The session will discuss both On-Page SEO and Off-Page SEO tactics including things like page titles, Meta Tags, heading tags, content keywords, images, backlinks and more. The workshop will also cover writing quality content for your website and how to choose the appropriate keywords in each article. At the end of the class Kevin will answer your questions related to SEO. Marketing your website starts with SEO, so come learn the basics.
