Food For Fines

The Libraries in Clackamas County would like you to join us in celebrating National Library Week. To celebrate this week, all of the libraries are offering a Food for Fines promotion. The library will waive $1.00 of library fines for every food item you donate April 12-18!

Donors are asked to contribute non-perishable nutritional foods. No glass containers, expired food, dented/damaged cans, or previously-opened packages please. Ramen noodles will not be accepted. All food will go to the West Linn Food Pantry.

Examples of nutritious foods that you can donate include:

  • Canned meats (tuna, chicken, salmon, etc.)
  • Canned or dried beans
  • Canned fruits and vegetables
  • Brown or white rice
  • Whole grain cereal
  • Whole-wheat pasta
  • Soups, chilies, and stews
  • Peanut butter
