LOCATION: West Linn Adult Community Center.

TIME: 10:30 am - 1:30 pm

FEE: IC/$40 OC/$50 per person per class.
MATERIALS FEE: $ 10-$15 (payable directly to instructor at class-please check class for exact amount).

PAD THAI

Many people have asked to revive this very popular class, and I am happy to oblige.  It is one of my favorite for both varieties.  You get to taste the two options and then make the variety that you like.  This dish requires "fast-hand" cooking techniques, so I will be standing next to each student as I guide you on how to cook it on your own so you acquire the skill.  You will have the option to make this dish with chicken, shrimp, tofu/vegetarian and/or a combination.  Material Fee $10/person

CINCO DE MAYO CHILE ROLLENO WITH MESA VERDE SAUCE, SPANISH RICE AND BEANS

Here is the best way to treat your Spanish food loving friends and family.  This is a sophisticated dish, and you will learn the technique on working with eggs to create a batter that is fluffy and crispy.  We will use the traditional Mexican queso blano cheese and fresh chile.  You will learn how to select the right chili, remove the skin, stuffing it, and deep frying it.  You will also learn the secreat to making Spanish rice, refried beans, and chili verde sauce.  Material fee $15/person.
