Please join us in removing invasive plant species and weeds to beautify the park and improve habitat for native plants and wildlife. Tools and gloves will be available, but it is helpful if you can bring your own gloves, hand saws, and loppers/pruners. Bring a filled reusable water bottle if desired. Bottled water and granola bars are provided. Comfortable closed-toe shoes. Pants and long sleeves are encouraged as some plants can scrape and scratch. Dress appropriately in layers, for the weather conditions. We work in the rain so if it rains bring rain gear. The ground is somewhat uneven, and can be muddy and slippery, so caution is advised when on the dirt trails. It is unfortunately, not suitable for those with ADA needs.
Parking: The main parking lot at Fields Bridge Park (near the baseball fields).
Restrooms: There is a public restroom in the park near the baseball fields.
Where to Meet: The park address is 821 Willamette Falls Drive. Meet at the covered shelter near the Playground.
Contact: Jeff Kohne at jeffkoh@comcast.net or text cellphone 503-867-1075, for questions or concerns.
