100 Books Before Graduation!

Are you in 9th through 12th grade?  Are you a big reader or just never back down from a challenge?  Sign up now to participate in 100 Books Before Graduation!  This is our new Beanstack challenge where you can earn a free book from our bookstore just for signing up AND a bookish prize bundle upon completing the challenge!

You can sign up by visiting our Beanstack page HERE or by getting the Beanstack Tracker app on your smart device.  Be aware, you will need to have your current grade entered in your reader profile in order for this challenge to appear!

The rules are simple!  Sign up. Read 100 books. Profit!

FAQ

• What if I'm in the 12th grade now?  How can I possibly fit 100 books into one year?

Books you have read between freshman and senior year can be counted!  Enter any books you can remember reading and they can count towards your final 100!

• What books can I count towards my 100 books?  Do comic books and audio books count?

Any book: fiction, nonfiction, graphic novel and audiobook all count!  But make sure they are all at your current reading level (or a bit more challenging!)  Any book you are assigned to read at school will also count.

• I am unable to log my reading on the Beanstack app - what can I do?

If you don't have a smart device for using the app AND can't get online to use the browser app, come and chat with us at the Youth Services desk! 

• I read a LOT, can I finish early?  Can I do the challenge again?

If you finish early, that's great!  Come on in for your prize bundle!  Unfortunately, you can't officially repeat the challenge, but keeping track of your reading is a great habit to get into, so we encourage you to continue to read and continue to set reading goals for yourself

BOOK LIST

There is no definitive list that everyone has to read for this challenge, but to help you get started, we have compiled a list of 100 books to start from - this is a mix of classics and newer books, fiction, nonfiction and graphic novels.  You may have read some or none of these, but hopefully it has something for every reader to get started!
