Mini Hoopers K-2nd Grade

Mini Hoopers with West linn parks & recreation

This league introduces young players to the sport of basketball, with an emphasis on participation, good sportsmanship, and skill development.
Coaches will coach and act as court officials. Games will be played on modified 8 ½ foot hoops, smaller basketball courts, and have some modified rules.
Teams will be assigned randomly, one buddy request is permitted. Both buddy requests must match to be considered.
Registration fee includes t-shirt to keep!
The Mini Hooper’s Basketball Fall season runs Late October-December, Spring runs April & May.
* Practice days during the week will vary for each team in the program.
* All teams will play games on Saturdays.
* All practices and games will be located in local schools
* Practices are Mondays-Fridays

Volunteer Coaches Needed:
WLPRD depends on volunteers to run successful programs. Volunteer coaches are needed for all Hoopers leagues. Volunteers will be provided basic information and skills training necessary to successfully instruct program participants. Interested? Please complete the coaches application online HERE. Be prepared for registration to take about 40 minutes, as you will be required to fill out your background check information, complete concussion training, and mandatory reporter training.
