Haunted Trail Scene Contest- West Linn Parks and Recreation and their partners are seeking West Linn’s most inspired, humorous, creepy, and peculiar families, businesses, organizations and clubs to compete for cash prizes for the best Halloween Scenes during the Haunted Trail Event. Start your planning now! Proposals will be accepted until September 27th with six scene finalists notified on October 4, 2013.
Cash awards will be presented to the top three scenes: $400 for the 1st place favorite, $250 for 2nd place, $100 for 3rd.
This event presented in cooperation with the West Linn Rotary Club.
Help Wanted............Now Seeking Summer Volunteers
Needed:
Experienced set builders, performers, costumers, make-up artists, actors and adult security.
Also Seeking Sponsors and Partners: In-kind donations of small pumpkins, and cider, cash sponsorship for prizes and other sponsors.

About the event-
Admission Fee: Pre-registered $4 Enchanted Trail ($5 at Gate) Pre-registered Trail of Terror $8 ($10 at Gate)
Trail of Terror is recommended for older children. Enchanted Trail is free for children 3 and younger.
PLEASE READ: The Haunted Trail is a walk through the woods at night where you will encounter scenes and characters to scare you along the way. It is NOT a "Hay Ride", not recommended for the elderly or very young as it's not a "trick-or-treat" trail. It is, however, the one Haunted Trail of West Linn.
For those who are not ready to be scared we provide the Enchanted Trail (recommended for families with younger children, children under 3 years of age are FREE)
Attendees are encouraged to dress for the outdoor conditions. Be prepared for steep elevations.
Avoid the ticket line at the event - Plan to pre-purchase your tickets!
