2015 Employee Recognition Program

WEST LINN - Each fall the City of West Linn holds its Employee Recognition Program to encourage and reward exemplary employee performance in support of accomplishing city goals.

Over the course of the summer, the Human Resources Department accepts nominations of fellow coworkers. A recognition team them reviews nominations and makes recommendations to the city manager.

The criteria for the awards are written to reflect City of West Linn organizational goals and objectives based on the following five areas: leadership, innovation, partnerships, systems and service.

This year’s award recipients were honored at the annual Employee Recognition Event on Sept. 17, 2015:

  • Cheryl Hill – Library
  • Shelby Johnson – Human Resources/Payroll
  • Shauna Shroyer – Planning
  • Gill Bjerg – Finance
  • Tarra Wiencken – Parks & Recreation

“These awards are as especially meaningful as all nominations come from peers and coworkers,” Assistant City Manager Kirsten Wyatt said. “This year’s award recipients, on a daily basis, show excellent service to the community of West Linn and are good examples of the level of service we strive to provide.”
