WATER AND TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT CHARGE STUDY - FINAL REPORT

In January 2009, the City of West Linn contracted with Financial Consulting Solutions Group, Inc. (FCS GROUP), to perform a system development charge (SDC) study for its water and transportation services. West Linn is a growing city experiencing increasing demands on its water and transporation infrastructure. The City's latest water and transportation system plans identified a number of improvement projects that are needed to meet the needs of growth over the next twenty years. With this study, the City wished to implement equitable, adequate, and defensible SDCs that would generate funding to meet the needs of growth without unduly burdening existing residents and business owners.

The West Linn City Council, at their regular meetings, will hold public hearings to consider revisions to both the Transportation and Water System Development charge methodologies:

January 11, 2010 - Water SDC
January 25, 2010 - Transportation SDC

The regular meeting starts at 7pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 22500 Salamo Road, West Linn, Oregon.
