In March and April of this year, some City water bills contained notices requiring property owners to have backflow assembly(s) tested by July 1, 2008.

Annual testing is in compliance with the State of Oregon law. On May 7, 2008 individual postcards were sent to all homeowners who, according to our records, had not had their assemblies tested. This is to officially notify these homeowners to have their back flow device tested to avoid having your water shut off.
