Broadway Water Main Break & Fix

On Monday, May 17 an 18-inch water main at 5622 Broadway Street failed. Due to the pipe condition, City crews were only able to make temporary repairs to restore water service to 48 homes. Permanent repairs began on Tuesday, June 22 and were completed on Thursday, June 24.  This main break was caused by wear and corrosion.  Regular maintenance on the system could have avoided this costly break and repair.
