Project Details:
The historic arch bridge linking Oregon City and West Linn will be closed from April 11, 2009 through May 4, 2009. Utility relocation work is required on the bridge prior to the anticipated long-term closure of the bridge in late 2009. A detour will be in place for all motor vehicles. Traffic will be re-routed to I-205. Some congestion can be expected in the surrounding area. The bridge sidewalk will remain open for crossing by bicycles and pedestrians. Qwest will begin a trenching project along Broadway and Willamette Falls Drive. This project will not result in road closures, but will result in additional traffic delays.
