WEST LINN - After years of success in Lake Oswego, the Neighbors Helping Neighbors program is arriving in West Linn. Neighbors Helping Neighbors is a clean-up event scheduled for June 5, 2010. The event provides direct service to West Linn neighbors who are over 70 years of age, or those who have limited mobility.
Volunteers will provide yard services to West Linn neighbors. Such services will include yard clean-up, limited debris removal, and tree/shrub trimming. Individuals must live within the West Linn city limits in order to receive these services. To volunteer or to recommend a person in need, please call Bridget Saladino at 657-0331 or e-mail bsaladino@westlinnoregon.gov. Interested volunteers are also invited to the Neighbors Helping Neighbors kick-off event on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. at Hammerle Park.
