Stormwater

The Stormwater Branch is part of the West Linn Public Works department, and works in conjuction with the Sewer Branch to comprise the Environmental Service Division (ESD).

Objectives of the Stormwater Branch include:

• Remain within NPDES permit requirements, minimize personal property damage, meet objectives of City's Stormwater Management Master Plan
• Remove pollutant loads from street/gutter systems to avoid stormwater contamination
• Meet community objectives for clean streets
• Develop, implement, and coordinate codes and policies regarding stormwater quality with other City departments
• Provide enforcement for private sector
• Uphold NPDES permit code enforcement criteria
• Keeping streams, wetlands, and waterways clean
