Upgrades will enhance reliability and safety of Willamette Pump Station reducing potential for injury and water mishaps.
Policy Questions for Council Consideration:
The City’s Water System Master Plan recommends Willamette Pump Station improvements. As the City’s designated system integrator, S & B Inc has assessed the pump station and provided a proposal for its recommended upgrades. City staff has reviewed the proposal and found the scope and cost to be reasonable. The funds to accomplish the work are included in the current budget and accomplishing the work now will allow temporary valve work installed for a water project currently under construction to be also utilized for this telemetry upgrade.
The City Council, acting as the Contracts Review Board, pass a motion authorizing the City Manager to award the Willamette Pump Station Telemetry Upgrade contract to S & B Inc.
