DUII Call Leads to Heroin Bust in West Linn

WEST LINN - On Tuesday night, October 27, 2009 just before midnight, the West Linn Police was notified of a possible impaired driver northbound I-205 near Hwy 43 (Willamette Drive). The caller reported a silver vehicle driving all over the road and varying its speed.

West Linn Officer Matt Lysaght arrived in the area and saw a silver car on the shoulder of the road. The driver was standing next to the car in an attempt to re-attach the rear view mirror on the passenger side of the car. The officer determined the driver was the person in question in this call and appeared to be under the influence of heroin.

During the investigation the driver was identified as Scott Michael FULLER, 23 years old, from Lake Oswego. In a search of Mr. FULLER'S vehicle Officer Lysaght located 3.86 grams of heroin; a controlled substance wrapped in 21 separate balloons. Mr. Fuller was lodged at the Clackamas County jail on Delivery and Possession of Controlled Substances (DCS/PCS) charges in lieu of $82,500 bail.
