It's time for the West Linn Public Library's scarecrow contest! Make a scarecrow and bring it to the library to be displayed and judged. The only rules are that each scarecrow must be able to sit or stand on its own and it can't be made of fresh organic materials. For inspiration, see the photo album of past scarecrows below. The contest is open to all ages and groups/clubs are also encouraged to enter. Scarecrows are due at the Information Desk by Tuesday, October 4, 8:00pm.
Voting will take place October 5–22. Awards will be given on Tuesday, October 25, 6:30 p.m., at our Terrific Tuesday Halloween program.
Scarecrows should be picked up from the Library between October 26th and November 1st.
