Whereas the nation and local region is currently suffering through one of the worst economic periods of our nation's history and the real estate market is suffering, City Council desires to reduce the burden of marketing houses for a temporary period by allowing temporary signs in the right-of-way in residentail zones on Sundays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. through September 30, 2009. Specific requirements to be followed as set forth in attachment A to resolution 09-17.
Please note Council has extended the time period on this to December 31, 2010.

A-frame Signs
Labeled with owners contact information
Located out of roadway, shoulder and bike paths
No larger then 5 square feet in area on one side
No taller then 30 inches
Signs can not block a 5-foot wide pedestrian walkway
Signs are only allowed between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
