The male student was transported to Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) by Lifeflight with serious trauma related injuries.
This event is currently being investigated. No additional information is available at this time.
UPDATE:
Preliminary investigation reveals the male student, struck by the car this afternoon, ran into the path of the moving vehicle. The car was proceeding under a green light.
We have no update on the young man's condition.
The investigation is continuing.
