Come to the library for an all-ages interactive performance of Northwest Native American stories with Ed Edmo. Edmo is a Shoshone-Bannock poet, playwright, performer, traditional storyteller, tour guide and lecturer on Northwest tribal culture. Edmo learned to be a storyteller from his father, growing up at Celilo Falls in the Columbia River Gorge. At night his father told him Indian legends, many of them based on the geography, history, and culture of the area around the Falls. He has been a consultant to the Smithsonian on Native American culture and folklore. He has worked with schools for 20 years and in arts education for ten. This family event is free and open to the public.
