WEST LINN – Applications for the 2012 Old Time Fair Court are currently being accepted from any 8th grade girl residing within the West Linn-Wilsonville School District. Those enrolled in public, private and home school students are encouraged to apply. Application packets are available at West Linn City Hall at the Parks and Recreation Department or on-line at http://westlinnoregon.gov.
Parents of prospective applicants are invited to attend an open house on Wednesday, January 11th from 6 – 7 pm. Members of the Old Time Fair Court Committee will present information about the application and selection process and responsibilities of serving on the court. Representatives from the 2011 Old Time Fair Court and their parents will be on hand to answer individual questions about their experience.
The deadline to return completed applications is Monday, January 30th at 4 pm. Selection interviews will take place Thursday, February 16th, at the McLean House beginning at 6 pm.
