WEST LINN - The City of West Linn is currently accepting applications for the 2012 West Linn Leadership Academy. Please click here to complete the online application.
The West Linn Leadership Academy identifies, educates, and engages future West Linn leaders, and creates sincere and lasting relationships amongst a cohort of civic-minded volunteers. Curriculum topics include city governance and history; finances; infrastructure; planning; schools; parks; and library.
Applications must be received by December 28, 2011 to be considered for the 2012 Leadership Academy. Paper applications will not be accepted. The link to the online application is http://westlinnoregon.gov/citycouncil/wlla-application.
All applications will be reviewed by the independent selection panel, and all applicants will be notified by mid-January of the status of their application. Interviews may be requested, if deemed necessary by the selection panel.
The 2012 Leadership Academy will meet on the following dates from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the West Linn Adult Community Center: February 8; March 14; April 11; May 9; June 13. Participants must be able to attend at least four of the five meeting dates to be accepted to the Leadership Academy.
