The West Linn City Council seeks to work together using the following principles:
Transparency
- We are committed to an open and transparent public process that is inclusive, and keeps all councilors up to date with relevant information.
Civility
- Treat each other and staff with professionalism and respect.
Focus
- Identify Council priorities; councilors are committed to be fully prepared to address issues, and do not get sidetracked.
Accountability
- While mayor, councilors, and staff are ultimately accountable to the public, they should also be accountable to one another and should hold individuals responsible for their actions by following up and accepting consequences.
