    WEST LINN - Officer Dave Heimbuck took William C. Dinnell into custody for False Information to a Police Officer. At the jail, he learned Dinnell was a wanted felon and an out of compliance sex offender. John L. Bealer Jr., one of Dinnell's travelling companions had devised a scheme to help Dinnell avoid detection, by using Bealer's own son's name. Mr.

    WEST LINN - On Thursday, the City of West Linn installed a new City-owned transit shelter on Highway 43 in front of the Central Village shopping center. This transit shelter is the first of three planned transit shelter installations along the highway; two more are planned for the following locations:

    WEST LINN - Former Portland Trailblazer Brian Grant will match all admission fees and donations collected at Friday's 789 JAM, up to $10,000, with proceeds going to American Red Cross Haiti relief. Cash or checks made payable to American Red Cross will be accepted at the dance, which will be held Friday January 22, 2009 from 7:30-10pm at Willamette Christian Church, 3153 S.

    WEST LINN - The 789JAM is a dance set up for 6-9th graders held at the Willamette Christian Church in West Linn. The event is sponsored by the City of West Linn Police, Parks and Recreation Departments, the Church and former Trailblazer Brian Grant. The goal of the 789JAM is to provide a safe, healthy outlet for our youth.

    WEST LINN - West Linn Police responded to over fourteen car prowls today, November 2, 2009, which occurred overnight. Most of the cars were unlocked, although a few windows were broken to gain entry.
    Items stolen included IPOD mp3 players, GPS units, garage door openers, purses, sunglasses, credit cards and identification.

    WEST LINN - On September 19, 2009 a West Linn resident contacted the West Linn Police regarding the fraudulent use of a credit card. The victim reported one of the family's credit cards was missing and being used throughout the Metro area.

    WEST LINN - On Tuesday night, October 27, 2009 just before midnight, the West Linn Police was notified of a possible impaired driver northbound I-205 near Hwy 43 (Willamette Drive). The caller reported a silver vehicle driving all over the road and varying its speed.

    WEST LINN - On October 24, 2009 West Linn Police responded to the 23500 block of Skyline Drive regarding a "possible shots fired" call. A resident, Mr. Rick Boes, reported during the night it appeared a bullet had entered the wall of his apartment.

    WEST LINN - Using nixle.com and twitter.com

    In an attempt to better communicate with our residents, the West Linn Police Department has begun using two on-line services; Nixle.com and the more commonly known Twitter.com.

    Nixle.com is an online information service that provides accurate, trusted, and secure communications from the Police Department as well as City Hall.

The exhibit will run October 6-29 in the library’s Community Room which is open to the public when not in use, and always open on Sundays noon - 5 p.m.

    WEST LINN - On Wednesday morning, July 23, 2008 Glen Carl RIDDERBRUSH (57 years old) was traveling north on I-205 approaching 10th Street when one of the tires on his Ford pickup went flat. He pulled onto the shoulder to change the tire, and while kneeling down to remove the lug nuts; he was struck by a passing vehicle, injuring both his ankles.
