West Linn Police Respond to I-205 South on Emergency Child Birth

Press release date: Tue Oct 21st, 2008
Friday, October 17, 2008 at 3:46 A.M. West Linn Police Officers Pat McConnell and Ed Friend received a call from dispatch regarding a motorist having a baby on I-205 south near the Stafford Road interchange. The officers arrived within 3 minutes, however, Olivia Grace had already been born.

TVF&R arrived a short time later and checked out the baby girl and her mother. Both were transported to Meridian Park Hospital and they are doing fine.

Emergency personnel were hampered in their response as the caller (the new aunt) had to run to the closest sign to get a location fix for the dispatchers.
