WEST LINN - The West Linn Community Police Facility Development Committee invites citizens to an input forum on the proposed public safety facility on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers.
In May 2010, the citizens of West Linn voted to not fund the building of a new public safety facility at a cost of approximately $10.6 million located on Parker Road.
The Community Police Facility Development Committee (CPFDC) was asked to provide recommendations on what modifications need to be made to the proposal. The CPFDC will be formulating a set of recommendations to be presented to the City Council in the next few months.
The CPFDC requests citizen input and will facilitate a public forum to hear from citizens. West Linn citizens are encouraged to attend and provide input on any aspect of a new public safety facility (police, court, and emergency services).
All aspects of the proposal are open for recommendations - from purpose to location to cost to timing.
