WEST LINN – Applications for the 2011 Old Time Fair Court are currently being accepted from any eighth-grade girl residing within the West Linn-Wilsonville School District. Students enrolled in public, private and home schools are encouraged to apply. Application packets are available at West Linn City Hall from the Parks and Recreation Department or online.
Parents of prospective applicants are invited to attend an open house on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at West Linn City Hall. Members of the Old Time Fair Court Committee will present information about the application and selection process and responsibilities of serving on the court. The 2010 Old Time Fair Court and their parents will be available to answer questions about their experiences.
The deadline to return completed applications is Monday, January 31, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. Selection interviews will take place on Friday, February 18, 2011 at the McLean House beginning at 6:00 p.m.
