WEST LINN – Construction work on Marylhurst Park is scheduled to begin on August 10, 2010. Marylhurst Park is West Linn’s newest community park. Planned amenities include a community gathering tree, labyrinth, playground, spray ground, basketball court, sport field, gazebos and restrooms. The approved Marylhurst Park Master Plan is available online here. Marylhurst Park is the last park to be developed from the voter-approved 1998 Parks Bond.

Construction goals for this construction season include grading the entire site, installing the irrigation and seeding the turf areas, installing selected landscaping for the park, installing the pathways within the park, constructing the Michelin Street entrance and parking, developing the wetland area, and hopefully installing the playground.
