Are religious groups allowed to use the Adult Community Center?
Yes. The City of West Linn has a non-discrimination policy when it comes to use of public facilities. This means that any group that is willing to pay the usage fee and adhere to responsible use of the facility can reserve and use the Adult Community Center.
Why are religious organizations allowed to use the Adult Community Center?
The City of West Linn is not allowed to discriminate and disallow a willing group from reserving and using the facility based on religious, political, or any other criteria.
Does taxpayer money support the cost of allowing a religious group to use the Adult Community Center?
No. The City charges a fee for the use of the Adult Community Center; this fee is designed to recoup the costs of operating the facility.
Does the City of West Linn endorse or help plan a religious organization's use of the Adult Community Center?
