Comprehensive Trails System Master Plan

The West Linn Parks and Recreation Department is requesting proposals for the development of a COMPREHENSIVE TRAILS SYSTEM MASTER PLAN that includes trails and pathways.

The purpose of the master plan is to provide a framework to guide decision making over the next 20 year planning horizon with the focus being a 10 year implementation plan regarding acquisition, development, maintenance, and management of the city wide trails system.

West Linn citizens and stakeholder groups need to be actively engaged in the process and adoption ofthe Plan. The resulting plan will be accessible, functional and attractive.

As part of the master planning process, the consulting team will work with City staff.

In addition, the consulting team will facilitate citizen input through a variety of means including city wide meetings, planning area meetings, workshops & interactive web site.

The consulting team will attend necessary Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, Planning Commission and City Council meetings.

Notice is hereby given that the City of West Linn, through its City Council will receive sealed proposals until 2:00 p.m. Thursday August 20,2009 in the Office of Parks and Recreation, 22500 Salamo Road #1100, West Linn, Oregon 97068.
