Richie & the Catillacs... Play a mixture of vintage rock-n-roll, authentic blues, classic country and rockabilly the Vancouver Washington based Catillacs wow the audience with its multi-talented line-up. Their performances feature rippin’ guitar from Richie Bean, masterful boogie-woogie piano, gospel organ and solid bass lines from Leon Holder, and the knockout drumming of “Bad Daddy” Dave Whittaker. All three are great singers and take their turns at singing lead as well as harmony and background vocals.

They’ve been on the radio all over the country on alternative, blues and indy stations, placed in the top 4 of the Cascade Blues Associations coveted Journey to Memphis band contest, and been on the cover of many of the Portland areas music publications. They’ve opened for the Curtis Salgado Band, Smokin’ Joe Kubeck, Walter Trout, Little Charlie & the Nightcats, and many more.

In 2010 they played at the Waterfront Blues Festival, Hot Summer Nights, the Go Fourth Festival, Lower Columbia College and the Logitech Holiday Party to name just a few.

Richie "King Juju" Bean is a veteran of the Portland music scene for over 20 years. He was the original lead guitarist for the Muddy Nominated Hudson Rocket Band. Richie is the singer, guitarist and front man of the Catillacs.

Leon Holder along with Richie is a veteran of the Hudson Rocket Band and King Juju Trio. Leon plays piano, organ, and holds down the bass line as well as singing lead and harmonies in the Catillacs.

Dave Whittaker is the bands drummer and sings. He's played in many local bands including the Bad Daddies, Blue Collar Band and John Denver tribute artist Ted Vigil. Dave host a weekly radio show every Thursday 3:00 to 4:00 "Entertainment on the River" on KEDO radio, 1400 AM in Longview Washington.
