West Linn Public Library Seeks Artists for Community Gallery

Artists may apply to have their work displayed at the library

WEST LINN, OR – The West Linn Public Library is calling for artist applications for exhibits in 2009. Applications must be received by October 25, 2008 at 5:00 p.m.

The West Linn Public Library’s Community Room gallery hosts a monthly rotating exhibit of art. The library strives to present the best work in the widest possible range of media and styles throughout the year.

The space is best set up for two-dimensional work, but a limited number of pedestals and display cases are available for three-dimensional work.
Artists will be selected by a committee comprising at least one library staff member and three professional artists. Exhibits may include the work of more than one artist.
