What TAB is!

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group of teens spanning the 8th through the 12th grade, who represent a diversity of educational experiences, and come together to provide the West Linn Library guidance and support in provision of services to West Linn middle- and high- schoolers.

What TAB does!

TAB members are a touchstone for the Teen Librarian to determine reading trends and current interests of patrons their own age.  They also will be taking on leadership roles in determining, planning and presenting their own library program by the end of the school year.  Throughout this process they will learn about how a library operates, what goes into planning a program and how a team compromises and comes together for a common goal.  Each TAB member will have the opportunity to lead a meeting and direct discussions.

If you would like additional information about becoming a TAB member, please contact Caitrin Lenartz, Teen Tech Librarian at 503-742-6178 or clenartz@westlinnoregon.gov
