Singer songwriter Ben Rice plays originals and cover songs that are a mix of country, blues, and bluegrass played with a mix of guitars from a Dobro to a Cigarbox guitar. He has been playing since he was six and has been playing professionally since he was ten. He has five full-length records out and recently finished a music degree at the University of Oregon. Ben has received several music awards and many award nominations from the Cascade Blues Association and Rainy Day Blues. Ben has played the Waterfront Blues Festival many times and competed in Memphis at the King of Beale Street in 2007 at age 18 where he placed second. His latest album is "Pour Me Some Whiskey."
