Welcome to the new City of West Linn web page. The new site arrays information in a variety of ways to ensure that a user can find the information they are looking for quickly and easily. Information is tagged so users can search for forms, calendar items, agenda items, volunteer opportunities, and more. Elements of this site's redesign incorporate feedback from residents, Neighborhood Associations, and City staff.

Here's an article from this month's "West Linn Update" newsletter about the new site:

It is West Linn’s turn to enter the electronic age and launch a new City web site . Unlike the slow-loading, teal web page of the past, you won’t find sluggish loading bars or hidden information behind labyrinths of confusing lists on the newly launched site… the new City web site has turned over a new leaf in appearance, and is easily accessible. This new user-friendly and personable website will change the way people in our community communicate with and view the City of West Linn.

Offering a more interactive experience, the new web site lets users explore the site based on topic, and lets the user learn more about current events, such as meeting agendas, special events like the Old Time Fair, and neighborhood meetings. Also, the West Linn Municipal Code, Community Development Code, Comprehensive Plan, and Design & Construction Standards are organized and linked on the site.

A special section of the site is dedicated to the parks in the area including each park’s features and schedules. Users can find answers to their questions about City finances, upcoming events, elected officials, meetings, projects, and more.

The importance of images and organization of information are applied with the citizen in mind.

This improved web site’s main purpose is to give people the chance to interact with the City from the comfort of their own home. The public can now access all the City’s functions and events with just a click of a mouse.

Log on today and be a part of this significant step as West Linn joins the 21st century. The new web site reflects our community.
