The library has a new database! It is currently available on library computers and will soon be available at home with a West Linn library card.

If you missed the opportunity a few weeks ago to create flowers for Portland artist Marie Watt's sculptural installation, “Forget-me-not: Blossom” currently on display at the Portland Art Museum, there’s still time. Drop by the Information Desk at the library for the materials and directions to create a simple wool blossom to be attached to the sculpture. West Linn Library was the only library approached to be part of this community project, designed as a remembrance and a metaphor for the cycle of life, with each blossom representing civilian lives lost during the war in Iraq as well as acts of remembrance for others lost.
