WLLA Selection Process

West Linn Leadership Academy participants must submit an application for consideration by the Selection Panel, which is comprised of the following West Linn leaders:

• Scott Bruun, Former State Representative, District 37
• Kathie Steele, Fifth District Circuit Court Judge
• Roger Woehl, Retired West Linn/Wilsonville Public Schools Superintendent

The WLLA application is online at http://westlinnoregon.gov.  Paper applications will not be accepted.

Applications will be screened for the following criteria:

• Interested in community service
• Good team players and able to work in a small group setting
• Not currently running for elected office

No more than ten to twelve participants per year will be selected for participation in the West Linn Leadership Academy.  Participants must indicate on their application an ability to attend at least 80 percent of the scheduled Leadership Academy curriculum.
