WEST LINN - The West Linn Mayor and City Councilors invite citizens to join them at a community conversation about a potential future police station on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in West Linn City Council Chambers.
Architects who completed the due dilligence report, along with the community taskforce members who recommended the proposed police station location on 8th Avenue will be in attendance to share their research at this meeting. Citizens are welcomed to receive this information and share their community comments.
The site considerations memorandum prepared is available online; as well as the committee recommendation report. The evaluation report from Group Mackenzie is also available in advance of this community conversation.
If citizens have questions in advance of the scheduled community conversation, or if they are not able to attend in person, they may email their inquiries to the City of West Linn.
It is anticipated that in July, the West Linn City Council will consider placing a ballot measure on the November 2011 ballot to fund the land acquisition and construction of the proposed police station.
