WEST LINN - The "West Linn 100" centennial planning committee will hold its first public meeting on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at West Linn City Hall. The goal of this meeting is to kick-start the centennial planning process. West Linn's 100 year anniversary is in 2013.
The planning committee is currently comprised of a small group of community volunteers (Councilor Jody Carson, Roger Shepherd, Mike Watters and Beth Kieres) who are committed to planning an exceptional celebration of West Linn throughout the centennial year. This group seeks to include representatives from across West Linn so the committee represents diverse interests and ideas as planning efforts begin.
The City of West Linn has created a dedicated web page for centennial celebration planning information; this page will be updated as new information is available:

Interested citizens are invited to attend the meeting on February 1, 2011 to get involved with planning efforts, or review the above web page and submit comments online.
