Biography: I was appointed to the City Council in the spring of 2006, elected in 2006 and re-elected in 2010. My husband John and I moved to West Linn in 1991. I have a step-son who graduated from West Linn High School and is now a special education teacher and another step-son living in Pennsylvania with his wife and six children. I currently serve on the South Fork Water Board, the Regional Water Consortium, the Metro Policy Advisory Committee, and the Clackamas County Mental Health and Addictions Advisory Council. In addition, I am co-chair of the Willamette Falls Heritage Area Coalition and a founding member of the Willamette Falls Heritage Foundation. I was on the West Linn Planning Commission and served as Willamette Neighborhood Association President.
I have a Bachelors degree in Nursing from Pacific Lutheran University and a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Denver with an emphasis in community services and social planning. I have worked in the mental health field and in healthcare administration, and am currently employed at Acumentra Health as a manager of healthcare quality review.
