Policy Questions for Council Consideration:
The adopted Master Plan directs the staff to update the existing deficient Sanitary Sewer System with allocation of $500,000 a year. City Council included $500,000 in the current budget for the Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project. Staff followed the City of West Linn Local Contracting Rules in requesting three proposals for the project. Three proposals were received ranging from $39,766 to $49,540. After evaluation staff determined that Murray, Smith and Associates proposal is the most advantageous to the City and are recommending awarding the contract to Murray, Smith and Associates.
Acting in capacity of Contract Review Board, authorize City Manager to sign a contract with Murray, Smith and Associates in the amount of $39,766 for the accomplishment of PW1004.
