Environmental compliance is part of the “Duties and Rights” under section 2.2 of the bylaws
Policy Question for Council Consideration:
Does the Council wish to join with other cities in Clackamas County and be a member of the advisory committee?
The Council is asked to consider endorsing the by laws establishing the Wastewater Capacity Advisory Committee which will require approval of the Board of County Commissioner s prior to implementation.
If the Council approves the resolution, staff recommends the Council appoint an individual to represent West Linn on this committee.
In addition, the Council is asked to consider appointing one of its members to the Kellogg Treatment Plant Task Force, which is also reviewing a long-term county waste water issue.
Staff recommends approval of Resolution 09-20 and recommends the Council appoint one of its members to the advisory committee and to the Kellogg Task Force.
